1/6/14 Found out today that wing kit that I ordered and paid for in Nov from Ronin Aircraft in Australia is back at square 1. Wing kit should have been shipped this wk but now they tell me wood they recieved had defects and they sent it back. I am happy they did not use bad wood but I should have been notified 4 wks ago when they found out. 1/10/14 No responses from Ronin as to a revised shedule and when I can expect wing kit. This is winter, last night was 13 degrees F, I am losing time in shop. I am off to Spruce in GA to pick out wood for ailerons. 1/11/14 Cut paper templates of aileron ribs and started cutting ribs from 1/16 mahogany ply. 1/14/14 Reports from Ronin are that they are re-designing spar and thinning wing, i am fustrated whether to wait on new design or keep on producing parts for current wing design. 1/16/14 Sounds as if new spar will be lighter and stronger. In long run I'm probably better off waiting, but i really don't want to.
