I have stressed for weeks about the fuse shape and skin type. I wanted a nice composite skin all the way down. But my turtle deck is 11lbs or about 0.6 lbs per sq ft. To do from my seat back in composite would be at least 10 lbs heavier than fabric. So fabric it is.
I have not found a satisfactory cowl. So I took the RV8 cowl, stretched it 1 in wider and added 2 1/4 in the the ht. (the width of the level) add decided thats it and now lets go for it.
