It took me about 5 minutes to determine the problem with my mag switch. As it turns out, I am a dummy. I am using a single double-pole switch for my mags, but I had both wires from the P-leads running to the same terminal on the switch. This means that both mag units were essentially grounded to each other. That doesn't work too well. I rewired the connections so each p-lead was wired to its own terminal on the switch, and it works fine now.
