Brief Description: Relocate Altitude Encoder & Replace with New Model
1. Note image 3 that altitude encoder is beside the transponder and setting with port up. To help prevent water entry the encoder should be pointed down. IMHO 2. Note image 1 relocated to mount beneath the transponder with port pointing down. 3. In image 2 is the cable that connects the encoder to the transponder. Cable much too long and has superfluous connector inline. 4. Will replace cable with the one that came with the new ACK A-30.9 Altitude Encoder when transponder connector pins arrive. New encoder required in order to provide an RS232 interface to FDL-978-TXL.
