I installed the Harrison Designs Vortex Generators that were supplied with the kit. The VG manufacturer recommends Locktite 401 adhesive. A very strong superglue. I heard that if a VG pulls off it will take the paint off the wing. I tested the glue with a VG on a piece of painted fabric and sure enough, it will pull the paint right off. I ended up installing the VG’s with 3M two sided tape, the method recommended by Just.
I followed the instructions from Harrison Designs and spaced the VG’s 3 inches apart and 4 ½ inches back from the leading edge. I made a template from craft paper which made locating the VG’s pretty easy.
