Brief Description: Installed Glare Shield, Panel Lights and Batteries
I installed rubber terminal connectors on all the exposed positive connections from the batteries to the engine. I installed the batteries in the battery trays completed earlier. I made the glare shield from .020 aluminum and painted the top flat black. I installed the glare shield using two sided tape. I installed and wired the panel lights, a strip of green LED’s attached to the bottom of the glare shield pointed down at the panel. The lights are connected to a rheostat switch and work well. I mounted the GPS antenna to the glare shield using two sided tape.
