I finished drilling out all the mounting holes and permanently installed the top and bottom cowls to the piano hinge using 3/32” aluminum rivets. I also used a plum bob to locate the engine air filter under the cowl. I’ll cut a hole in the cowl and fabricate a fiberglass air scoop later. I did the final trimming and sanding of both cowls to match between top and bottom as well as the boot cowl.
