I started spraying EkoPoly on the plane for the first time. I sprayed the bottom of the fuselage first since that will be the least visible part of the plane. The paint has to flow out overnight to achieve its final finish. So far it looks OK except for a few small runs along the pinked tape edge over the bottom stringer. I don’t know if I’ll be able to prevent similar runs on the side and top of the fuselage but I’ll try to come up with some strategy to deal with it. If that’s the worst part of this paint job I think I can live with it.
