Brief Description:  Center-drilled Z-Brackets

Well, I spent half my hangar time going to Home Depot and shopping for halogen light bulbs for the hangar and then looking around for magnetic hooks to hang my rudder/vertical stabalizer with. Time well spent I guess as now the hangar isn't quite so dark. And having airplane pieces and parts hanging around in full view will remind me of the accomplishments so far.

All I managed to do last night was drill out the 12 outboard z-brackets with a center-hole using a #12 drill bit. All I have is a long bit so using that in the drill press caused the tip to wander quite a bit. I'm not too happy with two fo the brackets, so I guess it's time to order some replacements. Only 2.25 each from Van's. Oh, and ten bucks shipping! Sure wish I lived in Oregon these days.

Guess I'll order some short #12 bits while I'm online.

So hopefully I can match drill ten of these brackets this evening. Wish me luck. ;-))
