Brief Description: Rib Drilling for Pitot & Electrical
Done with several weeks of travel, and now stopping at the hangar after work every night. Feels good to get back in the saddle.
Finished with the Alodine, and now it's time to drill or enlarge the tooling holes and I'm drilling an additional hole in each rib for the electrical conduit. Very simple stuff but time consuming.
Still debating whether I should then prime with the Sherwin Williams mix following all of this. The ribs look really good with the Alodine, but I had planned on the SW throughout. Heavy I realize, but thinking possible resale someday.
So hopefully I can finish drilling tomrrow night, and then I can match drill the spar/rib rivet holes. Once I start riveting again my mood will get back to normal.
