Brief Description:  Fuel Sender Mounting in Baffle - Part 2

Making some good progress on the Fuel Sender. I ended up drilling T-708 to make a reinforcement ring for the inboard side of the baffle to help support the fuel sender. I don't see this in the plans, but I find a lot of guys doing it. Can't hurt I guess. So...I used a fly cutter to remove the section of T-708 containing the template holes for the sender. Unfortunately, I didn't realize the fly-cutter would leave a beveled edge because of the blade-shape, so the piece looked like crap. Fortunately, Denny Edwards had a piece of scrap on-hand and I was able to fabricate a new one without sending more money to Van's. Yeah...a small victory for the little guy. lol

So that piece is now pro-sealed and riveted in place, complete with plate-nuts mounted. Sounds simple but took me a while to figure this out.

When I get back to Ohio next weekend I'll pro-seal the actual sending unit in place and adjust the float assemble.

Running out of excuses to rivet the z-brackets and mount the baffle. ;-)
