Brief Description:  Fuel Sender Mounting in Baffle - Part 1

The end is in sight, but I'm procrastinating in fear of testing the tank soon. Spent almost three hours drilling the fuel sender hole, and getting things lined up. You can see some of my measurements in the first picture below. My goal was to maintain access to the fuel-sender mounting screws after the z-bracket is installed. That's why it's offset towards the inboard side. I was able to use the original T-708 tank access as a guide as that piece is no longer needed when a flop tube is installed. I also realized that I need a solid access cover, so I ordered that from Van's. Typical scenario...the part was six bucks and the shipping was 6 bucks. Ugh. Wished I lived in Oregon.
