Great day at the airport. Got there around 11:00 am to prep the Cherokee for a local flight. Hard time starting but my fault for letting the battery go for a while. Must fly more often!
Around 1:00 pm Bill showed up with his Mom and I took her up for a really fun sightseeing flight. She got a big kick out of that I believe.
Finally got to work around 3pm and set about prepping, priming and riveting the Aileron Hinge Brackets. They came out just fine but I did have to use a little RTV to touch up a hole where I started to counter-sink but it wasn't required. Will see how that worked out when I go back tomorrow.
Next step is to hang them on the rear spar. Just ordered three more ribs to fix my screwup there. Should arrive after Thanksgiving I hope. Will be back at it tomorrow.
