Brief Description: Trim Motor Attach Bracket & Hinge Fitting
Worked on the Trim Tab Hinge and the Attach Bracket. Had to trim away excess material from the attach bracket iaw the plans.
Fitting of the hinge was complicated to me, but reading the instruction multiple times finally made sense and I made the measurements called for in the drawing. Once that was done, it was clear how much material had to be trimmed from the other side. Did this using the band-saw and the Scotch-Brite Wheel. Really like that Scotch-Brite pad. Wish I could find one for my 8" grinder.
Counter-sunk the holes in the hinge iaw the directions. Used a piece of wood to back the counter-sink bit to keep from opening up the rivet hole too much.
