Brief Description:  Planning Approach for Trim Tab

Got to the airport just as the sun was going down. With snow and ice expected the next couple of days, I rolled the plane out and went for a quick flight around the pattern three times. Worked on soft soft field takeoffs just for the heck of it.

Got back and started the kerosen heater right away. Cold!! Stood in front of it for about five minutes to get warmed up again.

Anyway, not a lot of real work performed. Still looking at Trim Tab and Electric Trim Assembly. Tried to dimple a plate nut to see what would happen and it ended up bending the tabs. Must do some reading on this. Called up pictures from Oshkosh last year to see if I could glean some ideas. No luck there. I'll probably continue dimpling plate-nuts unless I can find anything to the contrary.

Also saw a tip online about countersinking two forward holes on servo mounting bracket. Will do that since I haven't dimpled yet. Glad I held off. Without another RV bulder nearby a lot of this stuff is taking a bit of internet research.
