Not much progress tonight. Spent most of the time clearing space for the Wing Kit. I was determined to make some progress, but the first task attempted I screwed up. Not having countersunk anything for quite a while, I made a mistake by countersinking the forward face of E-705, which will be sandwiched against the Trim Spare E-606PP. I was thinking about dimples nested against each other, not countersinks.
Determined to check off at least one item, I countersunk the end of E-702 the Elevator Spar. This time it worked great. I used the drill press for the two inside holes, and the speed drill for the outside holes. Using a tip learned on this site, I pre-drilled a piece of wood and used it as a guide for the countersink bit. Worked great!
