Brief Description:  Rudder Spar & Horn

Good night but didn't get a lot done in the end. Spent better part of an hour trying to find and sort hardware. Had to locate the turnbuckles and associated hardware. Plan to sort all these parts into bins this weekend to ensure I don't waste this kind of time again.

Basically the goal this evening was to hand-rivet the Rudder Horn. I was able to use the squeezer on a few rivets, but most will require the standard rivet gun. I removed R-710 to gain access to the remaining pieces, and managed to drive most of the rivets needed at this point. I must still return tomorrow to rivet R-710. I wanted to spray the Rudder Horn internal section with some Zinc Chromate before moving on, so that's why I stopped. Oh, I also lost power in the hangar due to thunder storms so once it got dark that put a kabosh on progress. No problem though, the paint was still drying.

I ended up drilling out two or three rivets because I was unsteady holding the gun in akward positions. Having the lead weight installed in the top-piece makes it difficult to move things around.
Overall good evening, but hope to accomplish more this weekend.
