I said that I hate drilling stainless steel. Well, I hate drilling titanium even more.
I studied the How To video on the EAA website with Kerry demonstrating the best technique and setup the drill press. I figured I'd start with the tailwheel first since it is small. Broke off a bit in the first hole. Found out you can't drill out a drill bit with another drill bit. So, I reversed the rod and drilled the upper hole in the other end. This left plenty of room for the lower hole and it was 90 degrees to the botched hole.
Got the assembly completed and bolted together.
Moved the the mains and started trying to fit them to the mount. The left goes in with a little bit of effort. The right side not so easy. I will need to ream the mount hole for a better fit.
