Brief Description:  Right Wing Skins

Started the day by finishing the pilot drilling of the bottom aft skin and drilling both skins to the main spar. This took quite a bit of time waiting for the compressor to cycle back up to pressure. I have a 33 gal Craftsman, but it just couldn't keep up with drilling so many holes into the main spar.

Up-drilled the aft skins to reclaim some 3/32 clecos for attaching the LE skin.

Now for the LE skin. I dreaded this part because this skin was damaged while we were putting it back into its shipping box after removing the left skin. It simply folded in the middle like a sheet of paper causing two small dents, One on the leading edge outboard of rib 8 and one on the bottom between ribs 7 & 8. I was able to smooth the bottom one some using a block of wood and a rubber tipped hammer, but I am at a loss as to how to deal with the LE. I figured it couldn't get any worse and went ahead and attached it. The LE doesn't look too bad after drilling and clecoing but I still may try to use a pipe and roll it and maybe smooth it out some. As it is it's not aerodynamically critical.

Finally finished the night by up-drilling the bottom of the LE skin and attaching the root doubler.
