Deburred and cleaned, reassembled and riveted all of the the aft and nose ribs to the main and aft spars. This has placed me in a work stoppage waiting for the replacement root rib to arrive from Sonex. I also ordered two elevator root ribs that I messed up last year. I delayed fixing that until I had a large order of OOPS items to order from Sonex so that I would save a little on shipping costs.
In the meantime, I took some time to make a rib marking tool. I used a scrap piece of cabinet grade plywood, cut a lip into it and drilled a hole (actually two) to hold my Sharpie. Since the point of the pen changes diameter a few times I put some wood putty in the hole then pushed an old pen into it to shape it and make a tight fit so the pen would not wobble in the hole. It looks like crap, but it works really well and it really speeds up the marking process.
Waiting for a new root rib.
First hole was off slightly so I filled it and drilled on the other side.
