Frustrating day when it should not have been. The riveter problem go worse to the point where it just wouldn't break the mandrel on the rivet, no matter how many pulls I made. I got the repair kit out that came with the riveter and replaced the jaws and all of the springs, and reassembled. Still not working. I guess you get what you pay for, but with few other options, I headed back to Harbor Freight. They had the $39 models but today they had the $79 model which looked to be slightly better quality so I bought it. One pull, rivet set. The way it should be. I hope it lasts for the rest of the project.
I still did not finish deburring the leading edge skin and ribs, so I guess that's what I'll do next weekend.
