Brief Description:  LH wing

Spent today preparing to add the aft upper sikin to the LH wing. I had to make a jig to hold the alignment of rear spar alignment hole to wing station 0. I used an aluminum rod from the Ace Hardware store to do it. The rod is actually a clothes hanging rod. I just removed the grommet and the hanger piece from the ends and cut two section out. I then used my vise to flatten the ends, drilled a hole to match the rear spar and wing station 0 mating hole and a C clamp to hold the pieces together. This jig seems to be the standard for a lot of builders.

I also added an extension to my caprenters square so that I could reach the rear spar and square the hole and set the distance accurately. I also did this with the wing flat on the table. It just proved to be easier to do it this way and with two levels across the spars it was very accurate.
