OK, second attempt to mate the spars. The long reach clecos as well as lots of clamps and wood blocks kept everything well aligned. Once the alignment holes were updrilled and bolted it was time to enlarge the attach block holes.
The reamers worked very well. They cut slowly and I used lots of Boelube on the reamer. I used a 3/8 and a 1/4 inch as well as the appropriate lettered drill bits to work up to the 1/4" final size. Now I can start hanging some ribs.
