Started the mating process by checking the fit and the alignment. The instructions direct you to index the flats on the bolts on each spar. It really is that close of a fit! I also thought that I would have to open the garage door for it to fit. But it actually fit with about 3 inches clearance on each end.
The alignment holes matched up perfectly. No complaints about the pre-built spars. Well done Sonex. But I didn't have anything to properly secure the alignment so I stopped work and ordered some long reach clecos. I also decided to use reamers to enlarge the attach block holes so I ordered those with the long reach clecos. Final mating will have to wait until next weekend.
