Brief Description: Wing attach blocks and root rib fittings
Finished mounting the outboard wing attach fittings. Each one of the outboard fittings has driven rivets as well as AN bolts to mount to the spar. Rather than pounding on these with the bolt and bigger bolt method, I broke down and bought a 3X rivet gun kit from Aircraft Spruce. It's so much faster and just produces a much better outcome. Since I had some experience helping build an RV-7 empennage, it didn't take too much practice with the gun on some scrap.
I even got Karole into the garage to hold the bucking bar. She's now an official Rosie the Riveter.
