No matter how well we plan, Life directs the construction process. My Mother passed away this month, so after an extended trip to Louisiana I just did not have the motivation to do very much. But I finally got back to it by fabricating the wing attach fittings for the left and right wing spars.
I took my time with these since the wing attach bolts mount through these holes. There are four blocks; one inner and one outer on each spar. When the spars are mated, these blocks should overlap and then the holes are reamed out.
The blocks are milled from 1" X 1.5" aluminum bar stock.
