Had a day off from work so I got some work done. Final assembly of the HS and attaching the elevators and fiberglass tips. Craftsmanship is leaving a lot to be desired though. One of the fiberglass tips slipped too far in at the leading edge causing an ugly, uneven gap between the tip and elevator. Didn't catch it until after I had drilled it so I had to make the decision to stop working and order a new tip or drive on with the ugliness. I choose ugly since this whole project is to get flying not win trophies at fly-ins.
