Installed the oil separator return line. This requires a different oil sump plate with a drain plug/temp sensor as well as a second hole for the return line. The line is routed from the separator on the firewall to the oil drain plate. The idea is that this prevents having to drain the separator on a regular basis to prevent it from blowing oil on the belly of the aircraft. Instead as it fills up it simply dumps back into the engine oil sump.
To fit I had to remove the oil cooler and cut the baffle as well as the leading edge of the cooler to clearance the hole for the temp sender. After checking the fit a few times I finally got it where it needed to be. A bit unnerving cutting into the flange of the cooler, but there is lots of space there to do it.
