Discovered another builder tip and decided to use it. I ordered the Aircraft Spruce pitot tube. It's simple and very inexpensive but asthetically left much to be desired with it's two tubes brazed together.
The tip I found was to use some JB Weld metal putty to fill the gap between the two tubes. It makes for a much nicer looking pitot tube. I painted it with gray primer after sanding. Much better looking than the original.
While waiting for the JB Weld to dry I also started mounting the oil cooler and finishing fabricating the oil cooler hoses.
The cooler attaches to a piece of the lower baffle and then to the bottom of the engine between the exhausts pipes. It's very tight fit.
