I got a hangar. Hangar space in the Birmingham metro area is scarce. I put my name on the waiting lists at Shelby County (KEET) and Bessemer (KEKY). Shelby County was my preferred choice but I got a call from Bessemer today saying they had a hangar available. Beggars can't be choosers and I don't know when I may get another opportunity even though I'm not ready to move in, but I took it. Full of dirt, one dim light and only one outlet. Not the best for working on a project but I guess it will have to do. It's the exact same distance from the house to either airport so I can live with it.
