Installed the EGT sensors into the exhaust manifolds tonight. Advice from Kerry at Sonex was to make sure there would be no clearance issues with the cowling when determining hole location. Since I'm still a ways from that point, this is a guess at this point. I looked at several other builders' photos before drilling, so I think I got it right.

Looks like a rat's nest. Cable managment will organize and clean it up later.
