Test fit the crossmember in place and the panel blank. Also made the L brackets to mount behind the panel on the glare shield.
I intend to mount the panel to the crossmember and the brackets with nutplates so that it will be easily removeable if needed. I also mounted the crossmember with countersunk bolts so that if I ever have to remove the tank I could get it out without drilling out a lot of rivets.
