Installed the Kuntzelman LED wingtip lights today. I purchased the lights from ACS, but they did not supply the Sonex wingtip adaters as promised. When I called ACS, they had no clue what I was talking about. I called Kuntzelman and they were more than happy to send me a pair of the mounts. Since I'm riveting the tips to the wings I wanted to make the lights removeable from the tips. To do this, I had to open up the holes in the mounts to allow the Molex quick disconnects to slide through. Pretty simple.
The lights look good, are super simple to install, draw very little amperage to operate, extremely affordable and look like they were custom made for the Sonex.
