Started assembly after completing the inventory of parts. The assembly manual is outstanding.
Completed assembly of the camshaft, attached the rods to the crankshaft and prepped and painted the case halves. I used silver paint rather than black as called for simply because the parts store had the high temp silver on sale and I thought it would look good with all of the red annodized parts in the kit.
Ended the night with everything installed and torqued and ready for the cylinder heads. I'll start that tomorrow.
