After letting Ashley try on the cockpit for size I started the assembly and installation of the rudder pedals. Started with cutting and drilling of the phenolic blocks, mounting them to the pedal brackets and finally installing the pre-welded pedal assemblies into the blocks. Lots of on and off to get the chamfer on the holes correct to allow free movement. Took a lot of time but finally got it, applied some grease and torqued the bolts.
Disbelief and amazement. "Can I sit in Mom's lap so all three of us can travel together?" Sadly, no.
