I am still at the stage of mocking up as much as I can firewall forward so I can figure out things like hose, wiring, scat tubes and control cable locations. I temporarily installed the Vans engine baffling kit which required some minor trimming and tweaking here and there. Overall it went on pretty well and now allows me to determine the few last firewall penetrations that will accommodate things like my propeller pitch control cable, the FAB filter bypass cable and the cabin heat box control cable. I couldn't imagine trying to fabricate the engine baffle from scratch!
