Brief Description: Gascolator and Heat Box planning.
Even though I have a fuel injected engine coming (which does not need a Gascolator) I have to incorporate one due to a Canadian requirement. I can't find a low spot on the firewall that doesn’t have it interfere with the engine mount. I need to research this a bit more to find a solution. Another Canadian requirement is to use a Stainless Steel heat box (which I do agree with) instead of an aluminum unit. Because the one I have differs from the Van's factory model I fiddled with possible orientations, but can't commit to anything until I get a look at how my engine and exhaust system will affect it's placement. So basically, I didn’t really accomplish anything today.
