I inserted a 1/2" wood dowel into the aileron counterbalance to protect the inside from drilling damage. I clamped the leading edge and C/B pipe together and positioned it onto the edge of a 2X4 then drilled the middle hole. I installed a High Tension cleco to keep it all in place and continued drilling out the remaining holes on both ailerons. I then clecoed everything together on the left hand aileron and match drilled the top spar holes and opened up the lower ones to #30 for CS4-4 blind rivets.
