Brief Description:  Pressure tested the left hand fuel tank.

I cut the end off of a balloon and slipped the fuel cap into it to improve its seal. Then I attached the fittings that came with the test kit from Van's. I used my bicycle pump to slowly add some pressure to the tank until the balloon on the vent line inflated. I used soapy water in a spray bottle to check for leaks. I only found a single tiny leak where the most inboard Z-Bracket meets the aft baffle. If I had to have a leak I guess this is about the best case scenario for its location. It's only an inch from the access panel. I plan on thinning some sealant and using very slight vacuum pressure to draw it into the hole. If that doesn't work then I will remove the access plate and do it from inside. By the way, it looks like the ‘faying’ method of sealant application works, and its way less messy.
