Brief Description: Fay sealed left tank inner ribs.
I mixed up a new tube of black goo and applied a thin layer to the flanges of all 5 inner ribs and clecoed every hole. I then applied a bead along the joint between the skin and ribs meet and smoothed them out with a Popsicle stick. One 6 ounce tube was exactly the right amount to do the 5 inner ribs and it took just under 2 hours. There was very little mess using this system and I recommend it. I will leave all the cleco’s in place for 24 hours then Sean and I will replace each cleco with a rivet using the 'wet setting' method.
