Brief Description:  T-405 Tank Bracket (Prototype-1).

I spent an hour countersinking the span wise holes in the tank skin where it meets the baffle then continued work on the left hand T-405 tank attach bracket. This piece gets riveted in place before the skin is riveted onto the under structure so you have to make sure you make some grooves that will allow a no hole yoke access to the skin to rib rivets. If you are installing a flop tube style fuel pick up (and I am, but only in the left hand tank) you have to consider the AN nut that will secure the fitting to the flop tube. There is a 3/16" tooling hole in the nose of the rib that should get filled with a rivet (image 3, circled in red). For some reason unknown to me at the time, I back drilled this hole to 3/16" into my tank attach bracket realizing too late that I only needed to drill a #30 in both the T-405 and the T-410 reinforcing plate and squeeze in an AN470-4-7. I don't even have rivets that are thick enough to fill a 3/16" hole let alone a rivet gun capable of bucking it! Oh well, there is enough angle to make a total of three T-405's (assuming the extra is not allocated for something else) making this first attempt prototype-1.
