Brief Description:  Fixed the gap between tank and leading edge.

I didn't want to back drill the W-423 Joint Plate until I had the gap between the tank and the leading edge assembly reduced. I accomplished this by adjusting the flange at the nose end of the tank rib that sits next to the joint. It's hard to tell from Image 1 below but the shape of the skin was being influenced by the small flanges. After adjusting them and reassembling the whole thing the gap was gone. I used some 10 foot long come-along straps to very gently snug the tank down to the main spar. Next up is to back drill the joint plate. If you use straps to cinch your tank down don't forget to place a wooden block on the aft spar to prevent bending the skin at the back edge of the wing.
