I used my new parts washer (see Tools section) as a convenient bin to Scotch Bright (soaked in Lacquer Thinner) the left hand wing ribs. Then I used clean paper towels and more Lacquer Thinner to remove any remaining residue. I made sure I handled them with rubber gloves from this point and used compressed air to remove any bits of paper towel. I set them up on my spray table outside and mixed up equal parts of my Nason self etching primer. I set my small spray gun (next time I will use my large one for a big job like this) to 40 PSI and let her rip. This was the first time I have used this primer, and it covered quite well. No runs and the green looks very 'airplane'.
