I used a small sanding drum mounted on my die grinder to remove the gel coat where the tip extension will mate to the wing tip. I cleaned the mating surfaces well and applied West Systems epoxy / resin to both parts and clecoed them in place. Then I replaced each cleco one at a time with flush head blind rivets (MK-319 BS) for good measure.
