I monkeyed around with this for longer than I should have but in the end I ended up with an acceptable result. It is worthwhile spending some time adjusting the bends so they don't put any stress on the other. I found that if they are pushing against each other it tends to put a slight bow into the middle of the tab. This condition was mentioned in the forums and was found present even after the spar and ends were riveted together. If I still see a bow in the tab at the mid region I may try to GENTLY apply pressure on the trailing edge with my edge formers or my bending break.
