Brief Description: Fabricated L/H Elevator 'Riblet'.
I decided to fabricate a 'riblet' for the left hand Elevator trim tab end. I didn't even bother trying to bend the tabs down. Based on the forums I figured I would get a better result this way. It took me several tries to get the bend just right but ended up with an acceptable result. I will use flush head MK-319-BS blind rivets. I complied with the minimum required edge distance and proper rivet spacing as set out in the Acceptable Methods and Practices manual.
Next up is priming the riblet and riveting on the right hand skin to the understructure.
