Brief Description: Prepared forward spar center section
I dimpled the holes closest to the forward spar inboard end, then countersunk the two reinforcement angle pieces to accept the dimples in the forward spar. I ensured the dimple was facing the correct direction (Aft) because when the empennage is joined to the fuselage, the center section of the inside forward spar must be flush.Following the dimentions listed in the plans as closely as I could, I trimmed the aft flanges of the inboard nose ribs with my metal cutting band saw.
