I purchased a sheet metal nibbler from the local Princess Auto. It was on sale for about $32.00 from about $50.00 CAD. I don't think I will need this thing for much during the construction of my RV-8 but who can resist a shiny new tool that’s on sale? I tested it on a peice of scrap about 0.94 mm thick and it worded pretty well. I wouldn't use it to do real fin work on stock as thick as this but I think it would leave a lot less distoration on thinner sheet aluminum.
