Brief Description: Installed another compressor air filter and drain.
Back from a long 6.5 weeks of work overseas. I fly Sikorsky 61's offshore in the Gulf of Thailand and had to go to Norway for my annual Simulator training during that time as well. I did the 13 hour Bangkok to London flight 4 times in the last 6 weeks. You would think that the last think I would want to see is another airplane. But, only a day after getting home I was hard at work on my RV8 project.
I started the day by installing another inline air filter on my compressor and replacing the Silica Gel filter medium on the existing filter.
I also replaced the original mickey mouse drain valve with a proper lever type ball valve making draining the tank an easy task.
