Brief Description: Elevator Control System - Part 4.
I finished the Elevator Control System section by notching the F-811D and F-812B stops to allow both elevator horns to contact them simultaneously. This yielded an up and down deflection as specified in Section 15. As is often the case the two elevators control horns don't align with each other so the stops get uneven notches. I used a digital level to check deflection between a leveled F-819 aft deck and the elevator chord line. I ended up with 27° up and 25° down.
